Ukrainian paratroopers completed combat training in Zhytomyr region, using Kozak-2 armored vehicles. This was reported by the Command of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Combat training of 95th separate airborne assault brigade units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine activities continue at the combined-arms training ground near Zhytomyr.
As part of the training, the paratroopers conducted live firing from large-caliber NSV machine guns mounted on armored vehicles, and practiced driving in difficult terrain.
In addition, the paratroopers practiced aiming and firing while on the move, as well as evacuating a conditionally wounded soldier from a “wounded” car and providing first aid.
Kozak-2 is a Ukrainian armored car manufactured by Scientific and production association Praktika.
The armored vehicle has been mass-produced since July 2015. The customers are the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service.
