Ukrainian President supports to transfer launch date for new electricity market model

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky supports the transfer of the launch date of the new electricity market in Ukraine (planned on July 1) for 3 months or one year.

This was announced by the representative of the President in the Cabinet of Ministers Andriy Gerus.

“The president is ready for one year term or for 3 months, but it can only be postponed by the parliament, because the law says so,” the representative of the head of state in the government wrote.

As The Journalist reported, the World Bank said Ukraine is not ready to launch new power market from July 1.
