Ukrainian military sailors undergo an internship on the HMS Echo (H87) reconnaissance ship of the British Royal Navy, which moored in Odesa port on May 6.
According to the command of the Naval Forces of Ukraine, officers and contractors of the national military fleet take part in an internship onboard the HMS Echo H87 hydrographic survey ship of the British Royal Navy.
The internship is held in accordance with the international cooperation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine and at the invitation of the British side, Dumskaya reports.
Ukrainian sailors will cross the Black Sea, will gain a unique experience of passing through such difficult civilian shipping areas as the Bosphorus and Dardanelles, overcome the Marmara and Aegean Sea. Further, according to the plan – an event at the NATO naval base at Souda Bay in Crete (Greek Republic).
All scheduled classes will be held in English language.
One of the features of the internship will be the opportunity to see how the high-tech special equipment of the HMS Echo hydrographic survey ship works, thanks to which complex hydrographic work is carried out.
As The Journalist reported, diesel fuel from Turkey was delivered to the port of Odesa.
