President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with representatives of Ukrainian World Congress. They confirmed their readiness to work with the new president. This is the press service of the President of Ukraine reports.
During the meeting, the head of the UWC, Pavlo Grod, congratulated Zelensky on his election and entry into the presidency. He also stressed that the congress is ready to cooperate with President Zelensky.
“It will be very important for our community to hear that there was this meeting, that we can say what you proclaimed in your speech: we are one people in 65 million, and we are Ukrainians, wherever we live. I thank you for urging Ukrainians to come back and work on the development of Ukraine. And we want to do it together with you,” Grod said.
Recall that during the inauguration ceremony, Zelensky called on Ukrainian immigrants to return to Ukraine and promised them Ukrainian citizenship.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the former NATO Secretary General called on the West to support Zelensky’s efforts to end the war in Donbas.
