The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that the Ukrainian army received a new batch of repaired multiple launch rocket systems Uragan.
The Head of State posted this on his Facebook page.
«The Ukrainian Armed Forces have received a new batch of repaired Uragan multiple launch rocket systems. This is one of the long-range and most powerful multiple launch rocket systems used by our military,» Poroshenko said.
The president added that in 20 seconds, the Uragan can make a full volley of 16 missiles, which will reliably hit targets at a distance of up to 35 kilometers.
Poroshenko also stressed that the Ukrainian government continues to strengthen the defense capability of the army.
