The state enterprise Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau, which is part of the Ukroboronprom, transferred to the Ukrainian army the first seven BTR-4 manufactured from new domestic steel.
It is reported by the press service of Ukroboronprom.
«According to its characteristics, this special steel meets the highest international standards. The body for the BTR-4 is made at the Lozova Forging-Mechanical Plant. About 40 bodies are in the production,» it was reported.
Ukroboronprom has stated that the Lozova Forging-Mechanical Plant, together with the Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau and the Prometheus Research Institute of Structural Materials, have set up production of special steel-71.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrainian army received Su-24MR reconnaissance plane and Il-76MD military airlifter.
