The Ukrainian Army received a supersonic Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft and an Il-76MD military transport aircraft this year. Aircraft can perform tasks through over the world and participate in joint operations with NATO member countries.
As the press service of the state concern Ukroboronprom informs, the aircraft were repaired at the SE NARP, Mykolaiv Aircraft Repair Plant.
The plant has carried out a full inspection of all components and assemblies of the aircraft and performed their repairment or complete replacement. Such repair works include difficult process of restoration of the airframe and numerous aircraft systems. Their quality was proved by comprehensive tests, after which the modernized aircraft were taken by Ukrainian pilots.
Note that the Su-24MR is a supersonic reconnaissance aircraft that can conduct reconnaissance up to 400 km depth from the front line.
IL-76MD is the military transport aircraft which was designed to transport and drop personnel, equipment and cargo.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrainian Armed Forces received combat all-terrain vehicles.
