The Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Lyudmila Denisova and the People’s Advocate of Moldova (Ombudsman) Mikhail Сotorobai have signed a memorandum on cooperation. Mrs Denisova reported this on her Facebook page.
«I signed a memorandum with the People’s Advocate of Moldova. Now I will cooperate with Ombudsman Mikhail Cotorobai in the field of human rights protection. We agreed that we will not only to exchange legal documents or analytical and reference materials, but also inform each other about cases of violation of the rights and freedoms of citizens of our countries,» – the Ombudswoman noted.
According to Denisova, separately were agreed joint activities with the aim of sharing experiences.
As The Journalist reported, the Ukrainian ombudswoman demanded an immediate admission to Sentsov.
