As «The Journalist» reported, Ukrainian ombudsperson to meet Sentsov.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova said she was refused to meet with the illegally imprisoned Ukrainian filmdirector Oleg Sentsov in the colony of Labytnangi, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
This is reported by the press service of the ombudsperson.
«I met with the head of the colony and the head of the Penitentiary Department of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. They informed me that I can not under any circumstances meet with Oleg Sentsov», – Denisova said.
«The head of the Penitentiary Department did not explained to me the reason of his refusal. When I asked him on the state of health of Oleg Sentsov, he answered that he would not provide me with any information and asked us to leave the territory of the colony. Now we stand at the gate of the colony. I called the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation and look forward for her response», – Denisova said.
