As «The Journalist» reported, Ukrainian Ombudsperson said Sentsov is probably forced to eat.
Ukraine Parliament’s Human Rights Commissioner Liudmyla Denisova has said Oleh Sentsov, who is illegally convicted in Russia, is in the prison medical unit, he has problems with the kidneys and heart.
«I talked to the lawyer of Oleh Sentsov. Today (June 21 – ed.) he managed to meet with Oleh in the colony. According to him, Oleg is now in the medical unit. He has problems with the kidneys and heart. Oleg drinks 3.5 liters of water a day, and they still put him daily droppers. These are additional 2 liters», – Denisova said.
Ombudsperson stressed that Oleh had a crisis on the 26th day of hunger strike, and was taken to a hospital outside the colony, UNIAN reported.
«They wanted to force him to feed, but Oleg refused. The doctors did not insist because of possible publicity and asked to take him back to the colony together with the forced feeding device», – Ombudsperson said.
Mrs Denisova added that, according to the lawyer, the crisis could happen again at any moment.
