The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, has appointed 14 new members of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The newly appointed members of the Central Election Commission are:
Alla Basalayeva, Natalia Bernatska, Mykhailo Verbensky, Andriy Yevstigneyev, Iryna Yefremova (People’s Front faction), Olha Zheltova, Oleh Konopolsky, Svitlana Kustova, Olha Lotiuk, Vitaliy Plukar, Yevhen Radchenko, Tetiana Slipachuk, Leontiy Shypylov and Tetiana Yuzkova (Radical Party).
According to UNIAN inform agency, for each nomination was held a separate poll.
As The Journalist reported, the Verkhovna Rada has increased the number of CEC members from 15 to 17.
