The annual multinational exercise began in Poland, in which Ukrainian military experts on cybersecurity take part, – informed the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Colonel Oleksandr Motuzyanyk.
Within the framework of exercises, Ukrainian military experts on cybersecurity, along with their counterparts from 20 countries around the world, will work out the issues of cybernetic protection of information infrastructure. The main efforts are aimed at researching of the security of complexes and control systems, including telecommunications equipment, which are used by communications forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Defense Ministry representative also noted that the unit of The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the special detachment, participated in the multinational exercises «Flaming Sword 2018», which were held in Lithuania from May 19 to June 7. The purpose of the exercises «Flaming Sword 2018» is the development and strengthening of compatibility and readiness of NATO and its partners.
As «The Journalist» reported, during the military exercises the real tank was destroyed accurately and reliably with Javelin and «Stugna» anti-tank missile systems.
