Ukrainian military have claims on «Molot» mortar quality

Military have expressed a number of complaints about the quality of the mortar «Molot», Okleksandr Samarskiy, former deputy commander of the 72th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense.

«The mortar can be transported both concealed and towed behind a car. For 3-4 of these tows, seams on the wheelbase burst. However, these problems began to be eliminated over time. The same problems were with the base plate of the mortar, these plates were replaced.

What was said about the problems with the loading mechanism, so these mechanisms are more gentle than the mortar «Sani», and need more care.
