UN Human Rights Council to review the situation in Ukraine

Today, on June 24 in Geneva (Switzerland) the 41st session of the UN Human Rights Council is opening, where human rights reports in almost 30 countries will be reviewed, including Ukraine, as Glavkom reports.

It is known that the participants of the session will discuss about 60 thematic reports, along with the reports on the situation in individual countries.

“The situation related to the human rights in Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine, the reports on the circumstances of the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Hashkaji, on the fight against corruption, on early marriages and spying in the digital age are the items of the big agenda of the upcoming session of the UN Human Rights Council which starts on June 24 in Geneva”, the UN statement said.

A discussion of the human rights situation in Ukraine is scheduled for July 10.

The session will last until July 12.

Earlier, The Journalist reported that European Union has postponed negotiations on EU membership of Northern Macedonia and Albania.
