UN: Nearly 150 killed in battle for Tripoli

According to the World Health Organization at the United Nations, at least 147 people have been killed in the hostilities in Tripoli since April 5, Radio Liberty reports.

The organization also adds that 614 people were wounded as a result of the conflict.

Yesterday, April 15, the UN mission in Libya called all parties to exercise restraint and avoid causing collateral damage to hospitals, ambulances and medical workers.

According to the UN, over 18,000 people were forced to displace because of the clashes [2,400 left in the last 24 hours].
