The United States of America announced the introduction of additional sanctions against two Russian companies, as well as the training center of the Russian Armed Forces amid the violation of the accepted standards of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. This is stated in a document officially published on Wednesday by the US State Department in the Federal Register.
“A determination has been made that a number of foreign persons have engaged in activities that warrant the imposition of measures pursuant to Section 3 of the Iran, North Korea, and Syria Nonproliferation Act,” the document says.
Earlier, in connection with the abovementioned situation, the US government imposed sanctions against the Gatchina Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) Training Center, Instrument Design Bureau (KBP) Tula, as well as the Moscow Machine Building Plant Avangard (MMZ Avangard).
In addition, US sanctions were imposed against ten Chinese companies, three Chinese citizens, a defense enterprise in Iran, and five organizations from Syria.
As The Journalist reported, France had suspended the work of the distillery because of oil from the Russian Federation.
