The level of bribery and corruption in Ukraine increased to 73%

The level of bribery and corruption in Ukrainian organizations increased to 73% in 2018 comparing to 56% in 2016, according to research results international company PwC, which specializes in the sphere of consulting and audit.

The company notes that in the world only 25% of respondents answered that their organizations faced cases of bribery and corruption, which is almost three times lower than in Ukraine.
According to the results of the research, every third Ukrainian respondent (33%) noted that his organization received an offer to bribe in the last two years.
Also, 12% of Ukrainian respondents reported that their organizations’ losses from bribery and corruption amounted to $ 1 million to $ 50 million.

PwC conducts a worldwide study of economic crimes and fraud based on responses received from more than seven thousand respondents from 123 countries. The study is conducted in Ukraine every two years, starting in 2009.
