The Bloomberg reported that the U.S. Congress approved a USD 39 million sale of Javelin anti-tank missile systems to Ukraine.
The US State Department approved, and Congress unofficially signed a contract for the sale of weapons. Ukraine plans to acquire 150 anti-tank missiles and two additional missile launchers.
The publication notes that this agreement is not part of the US Congress USD 250 million military assistance for Ukraine, which was approved earlier.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine intends to buy more Javelin missiles systems.
