United States President Donald Trump criticized Germany’s defense spending, which, he said, does not pay a “fair share” as part of her commitments to NATO. This was stated by Trump during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Washington, the German international television and radio company DW reports.
“I have warm feelings about Germany, but she don’t pay what she had to pay,” the US president said.
At the same time, Trump drew attention to the “rapidly growing” defense spending of other NATO member states.
“Great progress has been made, and NATO has become much stronger,” Trump said.
As The Journalist reported, the United States may make public the facts about the attempts of removing Trump from power.
