The United States of America and the United Kingdom will help Ukraine to modernize and develop the Navy and its infrastructure. This was reported by Radio Liberty.
In the coming years, the Navy should receive at least six Mark VI patrol boats (in total, the United States allowed the sale of up to 16 of these to Ukraine).
Britain is ready to build eight missile boats. According to the agreement, two of the eight missile boats are to be built in the UK.
In general, Ukrainian naval sailors may acquire more than two dozen modern offshore platforms.
The US military is helping to create Ukraine’s maritime infrastructure. A loan from the UK is another opportunity for Ukrainian sailors. For this money, they will partially develop the coastal infrastructure, said the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko.
