Uzhhorod checkpoint opened pedestrian traffic at border with Slovakia

Registration and admission of pedestrians is carried out through the checkpoint “Uzhhorod – Vishne-Nemetskoe” from November 14 of this year, the State Border Guard Service reports.

“Such changes were introduced in connection with the temporary closure of the Slovakian side of the Velke Slemense checkpoint (Ukrainian side – Mali Selmentsy) and the termination of pedestrian crossing at the Ublya checkpoint (from the Ukrainian side – Mali Berezny),” the border guards specified.

Control operations with respect to persons and vehicles at the Uzhhorod checkpoint will be carried out from 08.00 to 20.00 (Kyiv time). The transit passage of persons and the movement of trucks both to the entrance and to the exit remains without restrictions and is carried out around the clock.
