At the international airport Boryspil a priest with a fake Bulgarian passport was detained, reports State Border Service.

«The use of a fake document wasrecorded during the clearance of passengers on the flight «Kyiv-Istanbul». On the control of the law enforcement authorities, one of travelers provided a passport document of a citizen of Bulgaria, which contained signs of partial forgery. It was later established that the passenger is a citizen of Ukraine, but also has a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. He is a clergyman by profession; he previously lived and conducted church services on Mount Athos. He needed a fake passport to live freely in EU countries», the report says.

Regarding the clergyman, administrative procedural documents were drawn up and the National Police was informed about the incident.
