In Antalya (Turkey), on November 4, a building of Consulate of Ukraine was opened, a banner appeared demanding the release of Ukrainian political prisoner, director Oleg Sentsov. This reports Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on his Twitter.
«Today, Consulate of Ukraine in Antalya, as well as the Ukrainian House – the cultural center of the Ukrainian community, has been opened. On the facade of the building – the requirement to release Oleg Sentsov in Turkish», said in a message.
Recall that Ukrainian director was sentenced to 20 years of the colony in Russia on charges of preparing a terrorist attack in the Crimea. In 2018, the director staged a hunger strike that lasted more than 140 days and demanded that Russian authorities release 64 Ukrainian political prisoners.
Earlier, «Journalist» reported that Oleg Sentsov was commanded to screen his scripts for the director Evheniia Vradiy.
