Protesters took to the streets of Austrian capital Vienna protest against the 12-hour working day. This is reported by Deutsche Welle.

Tens of thousands people took to the streets in protest to the Austrian government’s proposed labour laws that would legalise a working day of up to 12 hours without raising wages. It is proposed to introduce a 60-hour week. But at the same time employee would be allowed to give to refuse to work more than 10 hours a day.
According to preliminary information, some 80,000 people took part in the protest. In turn, the organizers announced participation in the event from 170,000 to 200,000 people.
It should be noted that the Austrian parliament plans to amend the legislation on Thursday, July 5, but the unions are categorically against the government’s plans and intend to hinder it in every possible way.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, the Brazilian civil servants were allowed to reduce work time in acordance to the schedule for the matches of the national football team in the 2018 World Cup.
