Belgium’s Federal Prosecutor’s Office has decided to launch an investigation into disappearance of large ammount of money from the frozen accounts of the murdered Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. This is reported by Segodnya news agency.
As it became known, Belgium, at the request of the UN, has frozen Gaddafi’s regime deposits in foreign banks, but the restriction did not apply to interest payments and dividends on deposits.

«According to one version, the money could be used to finance Libyan paramilitary groups accused of violating human rights,» the report says.

As The Journalist reported, NABU would verify information on the Gaddafi’s funding of Tymoshenko’s presidential campaign in 2010.
