Cocaine worth EUR 75 million discovered in Belgium

In the port of Antwerp (Belgium), customs officers seized a consignment of cocaine valued over EUR 75 million. This is reported by De Telegraaf news agency.

«A new batch of drugs weighing 1,561 kg was hidden in a container with timber from Colombia. The estimated cost is over EUR 75 million,» – the report said.

Recall that during the verification activities which took part last Friday, about 1,727 kilograms of cocaine were seized with an estimated cost of more than EUR 80 million. The drugs were transported in a container with bananas from Ecuador.
