A local resident of the village of Kalinovka arranged a laboratory for the cultivation of the cannabis in a garage cooperative. About this informs the press service of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv oblast.
As it became known, a 32-year-old man placed in a garage 57 flowerpots with hemp plants, which were grown under ultraviolet lighting and ventilation.
Illegal actions were exposed and documented by the employees of Brovarskyi police department. The suspect was detained according to the art. 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine. Prior to the election of a preventive measure, he will be in custody.
Investigative actions are now continuing.
Criminal proceedings under art. 313 (Abduction, appropriation, extortion of equipment intended for the manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, or taking possession of it through fraud or abuse of official position and other unlawful actions with such equipment) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
