Explosion reported near Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) HQ in Chernivtsi, reported by 0372.ua.
As a result of the incident, law enforcement officers blocked one of the city streets and informed about the bypass route.
In turn, the SBU itself denied information about explosion near their HQ, and added that untrue information is spreaded with the help of Internet resources.
The local head office said that law enforcement officers and sappers blocked Shevchenko Street because of a report that a local resident found in the garbage a suspicious object, which later turned out to be a piece of soap.
