More than 12 thousand Ukrainian citizens have received permits for short-term work and a temporary residence permit in Estonia as of the end of September of the current year. This is reported by ERR.

It is reported that the number of Ukrainian workers registered in Estonia has doubled in a year, and ten times in four years.
According to the Head of the oversight and migration service of the Põhja Prefecture, Indrek Aru, the number of violations related to the payment of wages to foreign workers did not decrease.
In addition, some enterprises not fair enough with the abroad workers and using their ignorance pay them out lower wages than they should be payed. At the same time the salary is often paid in an envelope.
