Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has provided 15 billion UAH for the repair of local roads in the state budget for 2019.
About this today, February 6, at the government meeting said Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.
“Roads in districts, cities are the competence of local authorities, and we allocated funds for this in the budget — almost UAH 15 billion to restore order,” the premier said.
In addition, according to the head of Ukravtodor, Slavomyr Novak, the State Road Agency of Ukraine plans to complete the repair of the N-14 Kropivnitskiy-Mykolaiv highway in 2020.
“We hope that in this and next year we will complete the repair of the road completely,” said the head of Ukravtodor.
According to Novak, the repair of a part of the road located in the Kirovograd region is planned to be fully completed this year. As for the repair of the highway in the territory of Mykolaiv oblast, this year it is planned to start from the most problematic areas.
"In fact, this is a new construction of a concrete road, because unfortunately there is nothing to repair here," Novak added.
