Fifteen people died of measles in Ukraine in 2018, 13 of them were not vaccinated, said the director general of the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Volodymyr Kurpita.

So, as of October 27, 15 deaths from measles complications were registered: 6 cases in the Odessa Oblast, 2 cases in Lviv and Transcarpathian Oblasts, one occasion in each Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Ternopil, Mykolaev and Kyiv Oblasts.

It is known that 13 people out of 15 did not have measles vaccinations, and two patients «have medical records about a one-time vaccination, made respectively, in 1998 and in 2017.»

According to the operational data of the Ministry of Health, 35,233 people, including 21.5 thousand children, became ill with measles in Ukraine as of October 26.

As The Journalist reported, the KCSA named medical institutions in Kyiv, where people could get flu vaccine.
