30 Facebook accounts and 85 Instagram accounts were removed by the decision of the social network administration before the elections to the US Congress. About this informs the press service of Facebook.
It is reported that the accounts were blocked after US law enforcement officers pointed to the connection of these pages with foreign countries.
In turn, an internal investigation found that 30 Facebook accounts and 85 Instagram accounts could be involved in coordinated activities.
«We immediately blocked these accounts and are now conducting a more detailed investigation», Facebook said.
