State budget 2019 lacks almost UAH 8 bln for medicines purchase

The state budget for 2019 provides for the purchase of medicines and medical products UAH 5.9 billion out of the required UAH 13.8 billion.

This was stated by the Acting Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine Ulana Suprun at the Government meeting.

«We have UAH 5.9 billion budget for purchasing of medicines and medical devices. But our real needs are UAH 13.8 billion,» – Suprun said.

According to her, each program will be funded at 52% in average. Suprun also added that there are some programs that funded at 100%, and some just at 25%.

As The Journalist reported, NABU stated that USD 156.8 million which were arrested due to the case of the runaway Onishchenko, have been disappeared from the Oschadbank accounts.
