On July 25th, in various parts of the capital, as a result of heavy rains, a number of events occurred, for the liquidation of which, Main Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv attracted 49 personnel and 11 pieces of equipment. About this informs the Department of Emergency Situations.
In total, 3402 cubic meters of water were pumped out and work was carried out to release the roadway from fallen trees and billboards.
As reported in the department, now it remains to complete the work to eliminate the consequences of a fallen tree (trunk) on a 5-story apartment building (Shcherbakovskaya str., 32/38). The work is partially suspended due to the lack of a large-sized 40-meter truck crane.
Earlier «Journalist» reported that on July 25th, during the bad weather in the emergency dispatch service «Kievzelenstroy» received 30 calls in connection with the fallen trees and broken branches. Also because of the weather, underground passages and a ruined bridge.
