EU rejects possibility of new attempt to renegotiate on Brexit

The EU stated that the Agreement on the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union does not provide for new negotiations, Reuters reports.
"The Withdrawal Agreement is and remains the best and only way to ensure an orderly withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union … The backstop is part of the Withdrawal Agreement and is not open for renegotiation," said the spokesman for the European Council head Donald Tusk.
French President Emmanuel Macron and Austrian Chancellor Kurtz also said that the resumption of negotiations on Brexit agreement is impossible.
