A silver penny-shaped coin is going to be issued in Canada. About this informs The Royal Canadian Mint press service.

"In the eastern part of the city of Wegreville there is a symbol of harmony in the form of an egg. The 2300-kilogram pysanka is a monument dedicated to the centennial of Royal Canadian Mounted Police. This miracle of computer design is executed in colors that respect the world, history and traditions. Our fourth pysanka is a reduced version of the world-famous Wegreville Ukrainian Easter egg," the coin’s website describes.
It is reported that the development of the designer, on the reverse of the coin will be colored pattern, and on the obverse – the profile of Queen Elizabeth II. It will be minted from 31.82 grams of pure silver and has a face value of 20 Canadian dollars. Its release will begin on February 5, and the total circulation will be 5000 coins.
