National police officers arrested two men who were preparing to commit a contract killing in Kherson. About this informs the press office of National Police of Ukraine.
It is reported that the two men were detained by car VAZ-21011. In the cabin of the car, law enforcement officers found and seized the Kalashnikov assault rifle, three magazines with cartridges, a silencer and F-1 grenade
It is noted that, according to the detainees, they were hired to commit a contract killing of two residents of Kherson. For the execution of the order they promised $15 thousand. At the same time they were given a deposit.
Police officers found that the residents of the Kharkiv and Cherkassy regions were the killers, one of whom was previously convicted for drug-related crimes.
It is worth noting that according to one version, the killings were planned in connection with the redistribution of business.
Criminal proceedings were opened on the articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine «Preparation for a crime» and «Intentional homicide on the order, committed by prior agreement with a group of persons». Intruders face up to 15 years of imprisonment.
