A group of masked men have attempted to seize an agrarian company. It is reported by the press service of the National Police in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
The source reports that on October 15 in the town of Shepetivka (Khmelnitskyi Oblast) about 30 people were trying to illegally seize the enterprise.
The report notes that the majority of young people aged no older than 30 are residents of Kyiv. Besides, there was a lawyer among them.
«They sprayed the eyes of all surveillance cameras around the perimeter of the building with spray paint, so that they could not be noticed later. Having presented a package of documents allegedly certifying the right of ownership, the men stated that they represent the new owner of the enterprise,» – the message says.
According to this fact, criminal proceedings were opened under Part 2 of Article 206 (countering legitimate economic activities) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The Article provides maximum liability in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to five years.
As The Journalist reported, on the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra the police detained 122 people.
