Animal protectors and scientists hold rally in Kyiv

The law enforcement officers blocked access to the Constitution Square and Mykhaila Нrushevskogo st. near the Verkhovna Rada, reports 112 Ukraine news agency.

Policemen blocked Mykhaila Нrushevskogo street due to the rally is held by scientists who demand increasing of financing of an education sphere. Traffic is limited on the roadway in the neighborhood with the Parliament building.
It is also noted that the Constitution Square is blocked «in connection with state events.»
In addition, at the monument to General Vatutin, about 50 people are protestng in front of a policemen line, demanding to rename the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast into Sicheslavskaya; also they advocating for the rights of animals.

As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko asked Verkhovna Rada to extend special status of Donbas.
