On the lake in the Obolon district of the capital, rescuers found the body of a drowned man reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kiev.
As it became known, on July 10th, at 20:17, the operative coordination center received a message that a human body was found on the Lake Operet.
Arriving at the place of the call, the rescuers determined that the body is at a distance of 15 m from the shore. With the help of diving and rescue equipment, the body of the man was brought ashore and handed over to law enforcement officers who will establish the cause and circumstances of the tragic event.
According to the State Emergency Situations Ministry in Kyiv since early 2018 32 people have been killed at the water bodies of the capital, which is 10 more than in the same period in 2017.
