Police arrested Polish citizen who murdered a man and attacked a woman with a knife

Police in Kyiv have detained a Polish citizen suspected of killing a man and injuring a woman, the capital’s National Police Central Administration reported.

As it became known, the incident occurred yesterday at the night (July 22). Law enforcers were informed that a body of a man with multiple stab wounds was found on Gnat Hotkevich st. (Desnianskyi district of the city of Kyiv).

The investigation team managed to define the characteristics of the man involved in the crime with the help of CCTV.

Soon afterward police squad have found the suspect near the house on the Dvinska st., where he attacked a woman with a knife. An Ambulance was called for the victim, while the attacker (who in appearance was like a man, captured by CCTV on Gnat Hotkevich st.), assaulted the police officers. The Police officers had to use weapon. The culprit was wounded and hospitalized.

The suspect is a citizen of Poland, born in 1989, according to the Police.
