In Kyiv’s park of Eternal Glory the memory of the victims of World War II was honored during the day (VIDEO)

77 years ago on June 22nd, at about four o’clock in the morning, German aviation began bombing Kyiv. It was on the day of Hitler’s attack on the Soviet Union that our country celebrated the Day of Sorrow and the Memory of Victims of the Second World War. In particular on the occasion of this sad date, people come to the park of Eternal Glory in the capital every year to honor all those who perished in 1941-1945.

This year there were also many not indifferent people among the youth, and among the people of the older generation. For a whole day on the Walk of the Fallen Heroes and at the foot of the obelisk, where the Eternal Flame is burning, solemn events took place, which began with a minute of silence.
Then all those present laid flowers at the Eternal Flame.
This event was supported by local authorities and people’s deputies.
