The management of a poultry factory was detained for organizing a poultry burial ground

Law enforcement officers detained the owners of one of the largest agrarian holdings for organizing the poultry burial ground and environmental pollution in the Kiev region. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The investigation established that the agricultural holding company violated numerous rules of environmental safety and sanitary norms.

«According to the Ukrainian legislation, the remains of the slaughtered poultry must be stored on special sites constructed to prevent the soil and water objects pollution», – the message said.

The management of the poultry farm, in order to save money, instead of recycling process, organized waste disposal by burial on land, which caused the emergence of a landfill dumps.
According to the source of the «Ukrayinska Pravda», one of the detainees is ex-deputy from the Party of Regions and the owner of the enterprise for the production of chicken meat «Gavrilovskie kurchata», Eugene Sigal.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, from the poultry farm in the Kiev region trucks haul the wastes directly into the field.
