Outbreak of Ebola virus disease in the Democratic Republic of the Congo was recorded again

The Ministry of Health of the Congo confirmed a new outbreak of a deadly Ebola virus and its first consequences. This is reported by AFP news agency.
It is reported, that the epidemic occurred just a week after the announcement of the cessation of the virus outbreak in the north-west of the Congo was made.
It is noted that a new wave of diseases is recorded in the east of the Congo, as a result of which 20 deaths from hemorrhagic fever were recorded.

«The North Kivu province has informed the Ministry of Health about 26 new cases of fever with hemorrhagic indications, of which 20 cases were reported as fatal,» – said Health Minister Oly Ilunga Kalenga.

Recall, that in result of 10-week- outbreak of the Ebola virus in the north-west of the Congo, 33 people have died.
As The Journalist reported earlier, the Democratic Republic of the Congo authorities intended to vaccinate the population due to the newly erupted Ebola virus.
