Researchers said that an ancient Christian burial place dating back to the late Roman period was discovered in the capital of Slovenia.
According to the publication National Geographic, among more than 350 families and other burials archaeologists have found in Ljubljana a sarcophagus of a titled woman.
It is noted that the burial of a woman was very different from the others – she used to be honored in community.
The researchers found in the sarcophagus a necklace made of gold and glass beads, along with a bowl, which reads, "Drink for living many years to come!". The cup shows grapes and grape leaves.
The tomb of the honorable woman was located in the very center of the necropolis, and around it, other burial grounds began to appear later.
As reported by Journalist in Antarctica the remains of an ancient unknown reptile were found.
