A truck with apparent brake defects hit several cars, killing at least seven people in Chiapas state (Mexico). This is reported by Excelsior.
It is reported that not far from the town of Tuxtla Gutierrez, the driver of the truck lost control and drove into several cars, knocked down tents with food and crashed into a road pillar.
In result of an accident seven people were killed, another nine were injured.
According to the authorities, the truck driver tried to flee, but was detained. He explained that he lost control of the truck due to the problems with the vehicle’s brakes failure.
