The Ukrainian-Moldovan Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe checkpoint in Odessa Oblast will be closed for vehicles starting from November 5 until the end of the year, the press service of the Southern Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine reported.

Thus, from November 5, the passage of transport through the joint Ukrainian-Moldovan checkpoint will be blocked due to the completion of the construction of the Palanca checkpoint in order to put it into operation. The construction will be completed by the end of 2018.

In this regard, border guards recommend travelers and carriers who intend to cross the state border with Moldova, to choose other checkpoints, in particular the neighboring one, Starokozache – Tudora.

As The Journalist reported, border guards of Transcarpathian Oblast detained Illegals traveling to Hungary.
