UN adopted Ukrainian resolution on human rights violation in occupied Crimea

The United Nations General Assembly Third Committee (also known as the Social, Cultural, and Humanitarian Committee or SOCHUM) adopted a resolution on human rights violations in the Russian-occupied Crimea for the third year in a row, 112. Ukraine reported.

The relevant resolution «Situation of human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Ukraine», drafted by the Ukrainian side, was backed by 67 UN member states, 26 voted against it, 82 abstained.
Note that the following countries voted against the resolution: Belarus, Bolivia, Burundi, Venezuela, Armenia, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, China, Cuba, North Korea, Eritrea, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Philippines, the Russian Federation, Serbia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tajikistan, Syria, Uganda and Uzbekistan.
According to the draft resolution, the UN General Assembly also condemns the illegal establishment of laws, jurisdiction and administration in the occupied Crimea by the Russian Federation and demands she abide her obligations under international law regarding respect the laws being in force in Crimea before the occupation.
