Today, on August 21st, 20th National Sorochyntsi Fair was officially opened in village of Velyki Sorochintsy, Myrhorod district, Poltava oblast.
Event will be held from 21st to 26th August, writes Kremenchuk newspaper.
«This year marks 20th anniversary since the renaissance of this unique, centuries-old event. Most of the oblasts of the country, as well as from abroad, represent their achievements here. You can buy everything from food to fur products and even KrAZ trucks», – message says.
This year expositions from Vietnam, Lithuania, Belarus, Uzbekistan and other countries are also represented at the fair.
«At the time fair’s opening several hundred enterprises and more than 600 national craftsmen were registered», – newspaper reports.
Also this year at Sorochyntsi Fair a large concert program will be held.
