As Radio Liberty reports, yesterday, on August 27, within the framework of «Point zero» photo exhibition, which displaying Donbas frontline life, a commentary excursion leading by the author of photos, Pavlo Nasadil, was held at the Ukrainian Embassy in Prague.
«Point zero» is a series of photos depicting everyday life on the frontline and locals. Pavlo took photos of the military, the border line with the occupied territory, the military hospital and the headquarters.
It is known that the author spent five days at the front line. The photographer was struck by the openness and sincerity with which volunteers treat each other.

«They are not professional military men, many of them sold their business and went to the war. Their solidarity and open heart, the relationship between them, which I had the opportunity to observe, impressed me very much. But this, of course, is the result of the situation in which they found themselves. They just have to help each other – otherwise it’s life-threatening,» – the photographer said.

Photographer decided to visit east of Ukraine because he wanted to understand, «what’s happening there.» First, the photos appeared on the pages of the Czech magazine «Respect» as a photo essay.
Returning to the Czech Republic, the author of the exhibition showed photographs to the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Czech Republic; the idea of creating a separate thematic exhibition has arose then.
As The Journalist reported earlier, Ukrainian self-taught photographer listed in the Adobe’s 10 Rising Stars of Photography mix.
